NEWTON — April 8, 2014 — The Joseph T Quinlan Bereavement Center will be offering a series of Community Memorial Services in three locations; Sussex County and Warren County, NJ and Pike County, PA; the first of the three will be held on May 19th, 7:00 pm in Warren County at the Washington United Methodist Church, 116 E. Main St., Washington, NJ 07882.
Clergy from various denominations and hospice staff join with family members and supporters to remember and commemorate loved ones who have passed. Attendees are given the opportunity to honor and reflect on their loved ones through lighting candles, group prayers, sentiments, and silent observance while sharing the grief experience with others.
The next Interfaith Memorial Service will be held in Pike County, PA on June 16, 2014, 7:00 pm at the United Methodist Church 206 E Ann Street, Milford, PA.Sussex County’s Interfaith Memorial Service will be held September 15, 2014, 7:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church 54 High Street, Newton, NJ.
