NEWTON — January 17, 2014 — Jennifer Smetana started working at the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in 2008 as an intern. She completed her BSW and Masters in social work from Marywood University and has now received her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the state of NJ. Jennifer works with bereaved families that seek the services provided by the Joseph T. Quinlan Bereavement Center under the auspices of the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. However in unity with the mission of the Bereavement Center, she also leads grief support groups that are open to the community. “In keeping with our motto of quality we are always on a quest to prove ourselves in education and professional development. Achieving an LCSW allows another level of providing quality services to hospice and clients.” Diana Sebzda, MA, LPC, FT Director of Bereavement, Joseph T. Quinlan Bereavement Center.
