Subject: Partner with Mountains of Courage to Transform Conversations About Death and Dying
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Sarah West, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Mountains of Courage, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reshaping how we, as a society, approach death and dying.
Death touches every one of us, yet it remains a topic too often shrouded in fear and silence. At Mountains of Courage, we believe education and open conversation can empower individuals, families, and professionals to face this universal experience with confidence, compassion, and preparedness.
This year, the Mountains of Courage Conference will feature a lineup of extraordinary speakers who are leading transformative conversations in this space:
Dr. Michael Fratkin: A visionary in palliative care, Dr. Fratkin will discuss the unique challenges and opportunities of providing palliative care in rural America. He will also explore psychedelic medicine at the end of life, shedding light on its potential to provide comfort and meaning during life’s final stages.
Lorca Smetana: An expert in resilience and grief, Lorca will present “Where Grief Wants to Meet Us — Resilience for Humans.” Her session explores how grief, when acknowledged and cared for, can lead to profound healing and transformation. A survivor of tragedy and a pioneer in resilience-building, Lorca’s work feeds the human capacity to recover, sustain, and grow in the face of crisis and change.
Suzanne B. O’Brien, R.N.: A global leader in the Death Doula movement, Suzanne is the author of the new book, “The Good Death.” Her live-streamed presentation will offer insights from her work training thousands worldwide in end-of-life care, including Buddhist monks specializing in hospice care in Thailand. Suzanne’s groundbreaking work has been featured in major media outlets like The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, CBS News, and more.
Through our annual conference, live-streamed nationally, and year-round workshops, we reach a diverse audience that includes the general public and key professionals in the medical community—doctors, nurses, hospice workers, caregivers, social workers, and clergy. To support these professionals, we also offer continuing education nursing credits, underscoring our commitment to fostering practical, impactful learning.
We are actively seeking partners to help grow awareness and expand the movement around death education. Your sponsorship would enable us to deepen our impact at this critical time. In return, we offer:
Visibility with a highly engaged and diverse audience.
Recognition in event materials, live-streams, and digital content.
A chance to support and shape essential conversations on end-of-life care.
In addition to sponsorship, we’d love your help in spreading the word about the Mountains of Courage Conference. Would you be willing to share information about our event with your database, email lists, and social media followers? Together, we can make a difference by encouraging education, empowerment, and open-hearted conversations around death and dying.
Let’s connect to discuss how we can collaborate! I’d love to schedule a call or provide more information on sponsorship opportunities. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at 208-721-1835 or [email protected].
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a lasting impact. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm regards,
Sarah West
